The Friends of Christ Church Lutheran was established in 2008 to help ensure the preservation of the National Historic Landmark by Eliel and Eero Saarinen through fundraising, education, and research. The organization has the full support of the small congregation that has lovingly cared for the building for six decades.

Funds for the restoration are raised through grants, private donations, public events, tours, and sales of commemorative items. Architectural tours and events additionally increase public awareness and help foster an extensive network of supporters.

The Friends of Christ Church Lutheran, a non-sectarian 501c3 non-profit organization, invites all members of the public who care about the preservation of this National Historic Landmark to become involved by volunteering or contributing to the restoration fund.
